Can you believe there’s a whole academic blog dedicated to early english bread? I love academics. Anyway, I’ll note that this bread here isn’t really very accurate, its risen way too much and is generally too chunky, that blog has some better examples of what bread would have looked like! But for the sake of clarity of what’s going on I drew the bread as the bastard child of the cartoon standard baguette (that even Aladdin has) and something a little more accurate.
